This fall, Art Cloud organizes their first big exhibition: the Let’s Play Gallery during the 20th edition of Museum Night Amsterdam. What will it look like?
Innovative technology
At November 2nd, the digital screens at Central Station, Waterlooplein and Weesperplein will together become the underground art tour: a digital, online art route that uses Augmented Reality to offer information regarding the exhibited work and the artist. The existing, physical art at and around these stations, which usually goes unnoticed, will be added to this tour. The program, introduction of the artists and the complete route will be shared on this website.
Double digital
The conventional description signs next to art works will be replaced by a digital alternative: Augmented Reality! Visitors can scan the screens with their smartphone. On their mobile device, an extra layer will appear which shows a video of the artist explaining their work.
Join Let’s Play!
We encourage upcoming talent to submit their digital, silent work. Read the rules of the game and other conditions (.pdf).
